Touring caravan insurance
Whether it’s a family holiday, a solo trip or just the two of you, a caravan break can be a fantastic adventure. Over the Pyrenees or into Cornwall, you’ll want your caravan as well-protected as your car is, just in case of any issues.
While towing cover is standard with most car insurance, this only covers any damage you might accidentally cause to another person’s property while towing, and not to your caravan. Insuring your caravan separately is a sensible way to ensure it’s protected both when parked up and when you take it out on holidays.
We have cover options for both single and twin axle touring caravans (if you have one of the latter, you’ll know it can be trickier to insure).
COVERING YOUR CARAVAN WITH
Our caravan insurance is fully comprehensive, meaning it includes cover for fire, theft, storm, flood and accidental damage. If your caravan is under 10 years old, you can get ‘new for old’ cover meaning your caravan will be replaced by a brand-new model if it can’t be repaired.
Your contents and personal effects can also be included in your policy, as can camping equipment and awnings. We’ll work with you to ensure everything you value on your caravan trips is properly protected, so you can relax.
Many of our customers love to take their caravans into Europe – if this is you, let us know when you speak with us so we can ensure it’s included in your caravan insurance. We can also help to arrange your insurance Green Card, a legal necessity when you’re heading across the channel.
